POSTER ON BILINGUAL READING CULTURE IN SCHOOL AND AT HOME
INFOGRAPHICS
The National Institute of Education commissioned this publication to present the findings of its 2021 study on the reading habits of Singapore teenagers. The project comprised a 48-page research report and a companion infographic poster designed to communicate key insights in a clear, engaging and accessible way.
Rather than relying on dense text and statistics alone, we translated the research into an infographic-led visual story. Through vibrant illustrations, intuitive data visualisation and thoughtful information hierarchy, the publication makes complex findings easier to understand at a glance while encouraging readers to explore the report in greater depth.
The infographic poster marked a refreshing departure from the traditional text-heavy format used in previous editions. Well received for its clarity and visual appeal, it was subsequently produced in four languages and distributed to schools across Singapore.
Thoughtful information design turns insight into engagement.
TESTIMONIAL
“I enjoy working with Marcus because he is professional, prompt, and talented. He listens to what I wish for the report to be and is capable of expanding my vision and turning it into reality.
The first draft is already excellent. In all the subsequent revisions and tweaks, he shows great patience in taking all my feedback into account. Thank you for your work!”
