introduction to 4 seasons and 5 elements

Mankind's insatiable appetite for material comfort and extravagant consumption has not only progressively ruined the environment but has also brought forth many social ills and natural calamities.

It is an understatement to say that the balance between man and nature is fast moving beyond repair. We don't need more flooding, extreme weather conditions, nuclear disasters, tsunamis, extinction of animals and sea life to tell us something is wrong.

Nature, in its seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) and elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth) are struggling to be heard. Until we deliberately forge a more harmonious presence with nature, nature's consequential fury will one day be too late for us to be awakened to.

Through my humble photos and artworks, I hope the voice of nature speaks to you. Look at the shyness of autumn, the joy of spring, and the softness of winter. Do you think nature will remain the same forever?

I believe in the need to tell a story through my creative work. Arts in its many forms should always excite, explore and serve the greater community.
